After his three children have run off several housekeepers, English professor Harold Everett is nearly at the end of his rope until an English nanny by the name of Phoebe Phigalilly arrives at his doorstep. It soon becomes apparent that this is no ordinary housekeeper as strange things begin to happen whenever the kids get a little out of hand and soon she becomes not just a housekeeper, but a surrogate mother to the three rambunctious kids.
